Privacy notice for customers

You opened an offer sent to you by a contractor (a tradesperson or company) using the Meistars AI tool. The contractor is responsible for your data — their name and contact details are at the top of the offer. Meistars AI processes the data only on the contractor’s behalf.

What data and why

This page uses no cookies and no tracking. Your identity is not verified; your approval is a simple electronic signature.

Artificial intelligence

The contractor may have used AI to prepare the offer (speech recognition and splitting the job description into lines). The contractor sets the prices and checks the offer before sending it. No automated decisions are made about you.

Who else receives the data

Meistars AI’s technical providers (hosting and database in the EU, AI, e-mail in the EU region, encrypted backups — list); some are US companies and transfers rely on EU standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. The contractor’s accountant and authorities where the law requires.

How long

As long as the contractor decides, usually while needed to perform the contract and for possible disputes; invoices at least 5 years. If the contractor deletes their Meistars AI account, the data is deleted (a copy of invoices stays in a closed archive until the statutory period ends). Backups keep the data for up to 30 more days. The offer link stops working after some time — keep a copy (“Print / save PDF”) or the confirmation e-mail.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction, object to processing and request data portability. Write to the contractor (contact details on the offer). If you cannot reach the contractor, write to us at denissharlass@gmail.com — we will forward your request to the contractor. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (www.dvi.gov.lv).
